Home Run Derby will take place during one day of the All-American Games – that specific day will be announced on the detailed itinerary one month prior to the tournament. The Home Run Derby CHAMPION with the most home runs in each age group will be announced at their Closing Ceremony on the last day of the tournament and receive awards.
The duration will be ONE set of 45 seconds to hit as many home runs as possible. All players must supply their own pitcher. This can be a parent or coach. Pitcher/tosser must throw overhand at any distance that is comfortable for the hitter and tosser.
What’s a buddy request?
We offer an opportunity for all All-Americans to request placement on the same #TeamAAG team as a friend from home or previous teammate they met at an early All-American Games event, that is also attending that same event, in the same age group.
This requires our #TeammAAG staff to play a little roster Tetris when it comes time to building out the teams. Our goal is to ensure that every player has a true All-American experience, by playing on teams with athletes from across the US, while also honoring your wishes to play with a best friend or teammate from home.
Buddy Requests can be made during registration or inside your personal registration portal at https://register.athletx.com/login
IMPORTANT! You do not need to request a player that has already requested to be on your player’s team or vise versa.

All Baseball Youth events are STAY-TO-PLAY. In order to participate in the tournaments, all athletes are required to book their lodging through Athletx Travel. Athletx Travel has secured specially discounted rates with the top properties in the area. If you choose not to book your lodging through Athletx Travel, you will be required to pay an alternative lodging fee. Contact [email protected] for alternative lodging inquiries. If you are considered local to an event (within 90 miles) please let us know so we can verify and get you noted as compliant. If within 2 weeks of the event, Athletx Travel will not be an option and the alternative lodging fee will automatically apply unless the team or player is considered local.
Publix Sports Park stands out as one of Florida’s premier destinations for youth and amateur baseball and softball tournaments. The complex features 13 total fields, including nine all-synthetic turf fields designed with AstroTurf and Z-Cap Cooling Technology to keep surface temperatures lower and provide consistent play all year long. The turf allows for excellent drainage and quick turnaround after rain, minimizing weather delays and ensuring smooth tournament operations. Two of the fields are built as championship fields with stadium-style seating for up to 1,500 fans, giving championship games a true big-league atmosphere. Field layouts are flexible to accommodate a range of age divisions and tournament formats, and ongoing upgrades continue to expand the park’s all-turf capacity.
