Jamarcus has been very successful in helping rebuild New Orleans. He spent a summer going with his Dad to local shelters to give an extra hand. Jamarcus had to take a year of playing baseball due to the mess in New Orleans and lack of local leagues that year. However that did not stop Jamarcus from practicing baseball. We bought Jamarcus a hitting machine last year even though we really couldn't afford it. Jamarcus practiced everyday on the machine and has greatly improved because of it.
